I had this idea a while ago that I will likely never do anything with...y'know since Cloak and Dagger are Copyright to Marvel Comics.

But I was thinking that there are these two characters that really aren't suited for superhero comics. I had thought of writing them out like a Marvel Max comic where they were following these new threads of fate that came out of Cloak and tried to rectify situations a la Dagger lighting the way.

Anyhow, figured I might as well throw out the design ideas anyhoodle.

Oh and before anyone asks, I know it's not Cloak or Dagger's regular costumes. I wanted his to feel more like a tether. Something that he's trapped in and her's to feel more like her origin which is as a dancer.

Those two have really gotten the shaft as far as Marvel character devolution goes. The cameo in Runaways was pretty good, but I didn't like Dagger's stripperiffic look. you get points for actually drawing something plausible, I like it!

I've only seen them in one issue I have of Daredevil or some related series. I've taken to Marvel Knights from then on. Haven't had a look at any Marvel MAX series though.

I was wondering whether you meant to have a glowing crescent around Dagger's left eye, which is conveniently hidden from view here.
And, are those straps hanging out of Cloak supposed to be like straightjacket sleeves or like whip thongs with hooks.

Mostly they're tethers. The concept being that each one is linked to a fate that would lead them to someone in need. =D
